Pinterest Announces Web Analytics!

“Today we’re excited to announce Pinterest Web Analytics. Now you can see how many people have pinned content from your site, what content is most popular with pinners, and more.

To get started:

1. Get early access to Pinterest’s new look.

2. Make sure you have a verified website. If you have a website listed on your profile with a check mark next to it, you’re verified. If not, follow these steps to verify.

3. Once your website is verified, go to the top right menu and click on Analytics.

4. Start exploring! Select time frames to analyze, see where pins are being posted, and more. Check out everything you can do in this video tour.

Today’s announcement builds on the set of tools we’re providing for website owners including business accounts, Pin It buttons, and our revamped business site, and we’re looking forward to providing even more helpful stuff in the future.

Introducing: Facebook Graph Search

Facebook has now implemented a way to do a search for businesses (like yours!) that uses a cross-reference so you can be more directly targeted for people looking for your company, or companies that do what you do. Basically it’s a new way for people to find you, and in turn, get you more QUALITY contacts. Here is an excerpt from the release:

“How it works:

Now people can search the social graph, not just by name but also by categories or simple phrases. They can also find content, such as photos and videos that they may have missed. For example, people can find you based on phrases, such as “hotels near the Eiffel Tower,” “sushi restaurants my friends have been to in London,” or “videos of TV shows that my friends like.” Relevant results are unique and different for everyone, based on their relationships and the information and content that has been shared with them.”

Social Media is taking over!

Once again, “Facebook” is the #1 top searched term for 2011.

This should come to no surprise to those of you who follow Social Media and Marketing news, as “Facebook” has been the top searched term for the past three years. THREE YEARS! Can you believe it? If this is a sign of things to come, Social Media is here to stay.

Think it’s a fluke? The #2 top-searched term: “YouTube”. #3? “Facebook Login”.

Crazy stuff, huh?

It is no coincidence that these are the top searched-for terms in the online world. In a world where everything is available in the blink of an eye,  it’s no wonder that these outlets, where information is available even up to the second it happens, are flying high on success.

Here at Kinected Marketing, we are happy to be able to provide management services for those of you who do not have 40+ hours a week to manage your Social Media services. We here at Kinected are always happy to announce new clients, and our most recent spotlighted client is one who, in the Austin Event’s Community, needs no introduction. So without further adieu, we are happy to welcome Leave The Details To Me, Event and Wedding Consulting!

Leave The Details To Me  was founded by Keri Wootton in 2006. Keri had been in the Event’s Community in L.A. for over 10 years when she moved to Texas in 1999, and has since then coordinated and planned hundreds of events. We are a proud supporter of her company, and have personally gotten the opportunity to experience the amount of detail and depth that this company has to offer.

What’s New?

There are lots of new and exciting things happening at Kinected!

First of all, we would sincerely like to thank the abundance of referrals we have received from our loyal clients! You are all the best clients a company could hope for, and we look forward to being able to help your businesses grow and flourish through the different social avenues we have set for you all. You are each an inspiration and really make what we do worthwhile!

Now, what’s all the buzz about?

We are now developing packages and a pricing structure to offer high-impact Flash website design and management!

As some of you tech-savvy people may have already noticed, our website is run off of Adobe Flash as well. We believe it to be one of the most impactful ways to present your website, while at the same time making it user-friendly and visually stunning.

Now, a lot of you may be wondering…why would I want a Flash Website? I can’t open it on my smart phone or tablet!

Well, you see, the answer is simple: now you can!

One of the *NEW* offerings we have with our web-development packages is the ability to make a more toned-down version of your website available in the form of a “mobile site.” A mobile site works very similarly to the way an “app” would (for example) but you do not have to download anything. It simply converts your site into a fully functional version of your website for viewing on smartphones.

We believe the mobile site to be a necessary addition to any Flash-based website, simply because the demand for smartphones is growing exponentially by the day, and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on such a large opportunity!

What else is going on?

We are now also offering Facebook “Mini-Pages”! These work as a smaller version of your website as well, but would allow anyone who searches for your company page on Facebook to find an interactive mini-version of your site, instead of trying to search around for a website listing.
